DG Research and Innovation and the European Patent Office (EPO) have established a cooperation to support R&I actors in their strategies to create more value and impact from their results. In view of raising awareness and exploring the capabilities of existing tools, you are invited to a webinar focused on the Deep Tech Finder developed and hosted by the EPO.
The Deep Tech Finder is a free, user-friendly tool that combines patent data with business insights to highlight innovative startups and universities in Europe. This tool is developed by the EPO’s Observatory on Patents and Technology (epo.org/observatory).
During the webinar, you'll learn how to explore investment-ready startups, identify key investors by sector and funding round, and search for emerging technologies - from quantum computing to offshore wind. The webinar will show to research and innovation actors, especially Horizon Europe beneficiaries, research funding representatives and policymakers how to use the tool to support strategic planning, including on innovation funding and monitoring.
