The wideraexperts.eu portal is a free-of-charge matchmaking portal for international experts and Widening countries applicants. The aim is to support the applicants from Widening countries who plan to submit proposals within the Widening, ERA, Pillar II clusters and EIC Pathfinder schemes under the Horizon Europe programme.
The portal is created and managed by the NCP_WIDERA.NET consortium of National Contact Points.

OSCARS project is organizing the launch event of the OSCARS 2nd Open Call for Open Science projects and services to be held online, on Wednesday, 15 January 2025.
In its Communication on Web 4 and Virtual Worlds, the EC acknowledged the need to engage internationally with the multistakeholder community on a broad scope of technical and content issues. Photonics21 has recently published three thematic reports focusing on industrial applications of high relevance for photonic technologies: Defence, Virtual Worlds and High Performance Computing. The reports outline the respective markets and analyse the potential of photonics for these sectors.
The QuantERA Strategic Conference 2024 – a premier event of the QuantERA programme hosted by Quantum Delta NL – took place on 24–25 September in Amsterdam. This two-day event brought together the worlds of quantum technology and research funding. QuantERA grant holders, representatives of research funding organisations, policymakers, and industry experts all gathered in Startup Village of Amsterdam Science Park – an inspiring setting for vibrant discussions on quantum science and emerging technologies.
