The integration of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in Horizon 2020 is an important feature of the programme. To monitor the development of this cross-cutting issue is an EU commitment. Various dimensions are examined, such as the budget going to SSH partners (overall and in each part of the programme), qualitative aspects, performance of disciplines and sectors involved, as well as which countries are represented as participants and coordinators.
ERA Monitoring Report 2023 shows progress with ERA Policy Agenda Actions
On 23 November 2023, the European Commission published its first 18-month review of the progress made towards the priority areas for joint action in the European Research Area (ERA), as laid down in the Pact for Research and Innovation in Europe, and of the implementation of the ERA Policy Agenda.

Through an extensive mapping exercise, we have matched our researchers' interests in the Horizon Europe calls, based on both their expertise and the industry relations they can bring to the bid. Together, these documents form six prospectuses that outline areas of expertise for - and of interest to - NTNU researchers, for each of the upcoming calls in the six clusters of Horizon Europe.
