The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is pleased to announce the opening of the 8th ELI User Call on 17 March 2026. Researchers from around the world are invited to submit proposals for experiments to access ELI’s state-of-the-art instruments and research infrastructure. Proposals will be accepted until 22 April 2026, 12:00 (noon) CEST, and will be evaluated by an international peer-review panel based on scientific excellence.
A brochure has been developed to provide an overview of Transnational Access (TNA) and Virtual Access (VA) opportunities offered through European research infrastructures under Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020. The brochure is addressed to researchers and research teams interested in accessing scientific facilities, services, and digital resources across Europe. It presents the main principles of TNA and VA, eligibility conditions, and available access mechanisms.
