Researchers are invited to join Lithuania’s research community as Principal Researchers in one of the country’s five newly established Competence Centres.

Research areas:

  • Chips (semiconductors)
  • Drones (autonomous, remotely operated and connected systems)
  • Microbiome and precision medicine
  • Plant phenotyping (for agriculture and agrobiological resources)
  • Advanced disease monitoring

Current opportunities:

  • The first three centres are currently recruiting for several positions.
  • The Plant phenotyping Centre will announce vacancies soon.

Principal Researchers will play an important role in:

  • Shaping the centre’s research strategy and priorities
  • Strengthening the quality of research and innovation in Lithuania
  • Supporting the commercialization of research and technologies
  • Enhancing Lithuania’s international research collaboration
