Press Release: Participation of MOST Office at IGLO Summer Reception 2025

On 2 July 2025, in Brussels, the Representative of the Moldovan Office for Science and Technology MOST, Doinița ULINICI participated in the IGLO Summer Reception 2025. The event took place in an exceptional setting – the Palais des Académies.

The reception brought together IGLO network members and representatives of the European research and innovation community, providing a valuable opportunity to celebrate shared achievements over the past year, strengthen existing partnerships, and initiate new collaborations in the field of research and innovation.

The official programme was opened by Pavel Doleček, Deputy Minister for Science, Research and Innovation of the Czech Republic. This was followed by a session dedicated to the European Research Area (ERA), featuring a keynote speech by Magda de Carli, Head of Unit and Deputy Director for ERA, Spreading Excellence, and Research Careers at DG RTD.

Other notable speakers included Ellenor Devine (Swedish Research Council), David Kolman (Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria IT:U), and Sebastian Claus (KOWI), who, together with Elisabeth Hajicek (FFG), presented the outcomes of the recent “IGLO in Action” session dedicated to simplifying procedures within European programmes.

A key moment of the event was the handover of the IGLO presidency from the CZELO (Czech Republic) team to FWO and FNRS (Belgium).

The reception concluded with an informal networking session, offering participants the chance to reconnect with long-standing partners and build new bridges for collaboration in the European research and innovation arena.

The MOST Office is honoured to be part of the IGLO network, actively contributing to increasing the visibility and strengthening the presence of the Republic of Moldova in the European research landscape, as well as promoting Moldovan scientific excellence among relevant organisations in the European Union.
