Partnership opportunity under the Horizon Europe 2027 calls for research infrastructures

The National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD) informs the research community of the Republic of Moldova about an international collaboration opportunity offered by the Research Centre for Geographic Mobility and Urban and Spatial Development Planning at the University of Latvia.

The Centre intends to join a consortium now being formed to prepare a project proposal in the field of research infrastructures, under the Horizon Europe 2027 calls, expected to open on 9 March 2027.

Depending on the topics and objectives of the projects, the Centre could contribute its expertise in areas such as human geography, population studies, migration and mobility, regional and urban geography, spatial planning and geospatial analysis.

Possible collaboration opportunities have been identified under the following topics:

  • HORIZON-INFRA-2027-SERV-01-01 – relevant to the Centre’s expertise in human geography, demography, migration, mobility and geospatial analysis;
  • HORIZON-INFRA-2027-SERV-01-02 – with potential for collaboration in interdisciplinary projects addressing geographic, demographic, environmental or societal dimensions;
  • HORIZON-INFRA-2027-SERV-01-03 – relevant to dissemination activities, user engagement, interdisciplinary research and the application of data and services in the fields of mobility, demographic change and territorial development.

The Centre’s presentation document (OnePager), which includes information on research fields, the team and previous projects, can be consulted here.

Identifying partners early and establishing international collaborations can help prepare competitive proposals under the Horizon Europe programme.
