Three days of practical work to develop a competitive Horizon Europe proposal
The European Commission, together with the National Horizon Europe Office within the National Agency for Research and Development, announces the opening of registration for the “Intensive workshop on the preparation of project proposals for the Horizon Europe programme – Republic of Moldova” (“Horizon Europe Proposal Writing Camp for Moldova”), which will take place on 21–23 September 2026, at the headquarters of the National Agency for Research and Development, bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt 180, Chișinău. The event is intended for the research and innovation community of the Republic of Moldova.
The programme is designed as an intensive workshop based on exercises and applied work. Participants will work on the logic of Horizon Europe calls, the proposal structure, consortium organisation, the work plan, the budget and the Excellence, Impact and Implementation sections.
The sessions will be facilitated by George Bonas and Inna Petrenko, experts of the Global Service Facility of the European Commission.
What you will be able to practise during the programme:
• selecting and decoding a relevant call from the 2026–2027 Work Programmes, Horizon Europe;
• building a clear logic: problem – solution – objectives – results – impact;
• turning a project idea into a coherent work plan;
• defining the partners’ roles and identifying missing competences in the consortium;
• drafting the main sections of the proposal;
• preparing and checking the budget at work package or task level;
• integrating ethics, IPR, open science and RRI aspects;
• using evaluators’ comments to improve and resubmit the proposal;
• making use of Widening instruments to strengthen institutional capacities and to move from a partner role to stronger roles in consortia.
The event will be held in English and is addressed to researchers, project and grant managers, representatives of universities and research organisations, as well as other professionals involved in the preparation and development of Horizon Europe proposals.
Venue: ANCD, bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt 180, Chișinău.
